The department has two sections: Organ products and Phytochemistry. In the laboratories of Organ products are developed or adapted technologies for drugs obtained from animal stuff, waste from the meat production.

The laboratories of Phytochemistry possess 50 years tradition in the isolation of bioactive substances from herbal origin. Pure plant substances are isolated for structural analysis, etc. lab studies. Know-How is granted for industrial obtaining of phytoproducts (steroids, flavonoides, alkaloids etc.)

Technologies for manufacture of phytoproducts - active substances and standardized extracts are offered.
