In the preclinical part are included the laboratories of experimental pharmacology, chemiotherapy and toxicology where is done screening of new compounds and inclusive pharmacological studies of substances with expressed pharmacological effect. Used are methods for study of psychotropic effect; antihypoxic and antiischemic effect; analgesic effect, cardio-vascular tests; gastrointestinal tests, dermatological studies, studies of antiinflammatory effect. Parallel studies of drugs safety are performed in toxicology lab, where is studied acute, subchronic and chronic toxicity, embryotoxicity, mutagenity, local tolerance, used are histomorphological and histochemical methods etc.
